Pull: The Battle

Back and forth
Back and forth

I feel the force
Pulling me back and forth

And keeps directing me
To the things I left behind,
Things of the past
That I do not want to do.

Constant swaying of thoughts,
Of my carnality taking the front seat.

Then...
I feel the grip of the Spirit,
My feet hear His instructions
My ear tune
To the rhythm of heaven's beat.

  1. Don’t say I am wrong on this one💪💪💪

    Philippians 3:12-14
[12]Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
[13]Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
[14]I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

  2. Romans 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not: but what I hate, that I do.
Paul wrote about the struggle with sin.
Although we are carnal we have been given the Holy Spirit until Christ is formed in us.
Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

I had replied earlier, but I don’t see it. I basically wrote the same thing as before.
    God bless!
