September: A month to Change lanes

Prophetic insight from poetry quiz

Just as I was about to step into the month of September or the biblical month of Elul,I got drawn into a poetry quiz about the Shulamite– the bride of Solomon. As I read up I found her in the Song of Solomon and I found out the word Elul is a acronym connected to the bible verse:

I am my beloved and my beloved is mine.”

Song of Solomon 6:3

When I engaged in writing ,there was one line that got me inquisitive :

From the lanes of the vine

I was surprised about why I used the word lanes in such a context. As I read scripture and meditate, I started to see two images:

  • Firstly,A cutting from the vineyard and placed into another
  • Secondly, a trackfield

Now, a trackfield is there for multiple athletes, consisting of eight lanes : depending on the type of race .Sometimes they have to run in the lanes allocated to them. When taking part in longer timeframes or a marathon, everyone just group together massively at the starting point and even starts of for a few miles still and eventually, you manage to break out of the crowd. You’re finding you’re own lane and rhythm. You hear the vague sounds of the feet and breath of others in the same race , until no more.

The rate of your movement is changing and then you starts to turn to a new direction. You are amongst the front, calm and concentrating, slowly accelerating. You are REPOSITIONING.You are ADJUSTING to a new rhythm and pace.Distractions are moving further away in the distance and DELAYS become something of the past.

TURNING

The one moment the Shulamite was walking through the vine of her family , then suddenly found herself in the majestic garden of the king with all the eyes looking at her and perhaps reckons she doesn’t belong. But what an outspoken lady, quickly dealing with condemnation.

SUDDEN MOVE.ADJUSTING!

Placements are being prepared as God wants and choose to use and steer His servants into new directions and acting in new offices. This points out the versatility, capabilities and qualities of some of His servants who has been diligently seeking , asking Him about the kingdom and personal ministry.

Preparedness

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.”

Isaiah 30:21

Seeking divine counsel, instructions and directions is key!As the shifting between lanes appears, a mind shift appears automatically.

A few notes to take along

  • Keep in the seperation God created. It is for a purpose.
  • Refrain from judgment and deal with it swiftly.
  • Stay focussed on the inner voice of Holy Spirit
  • Ask for discernment of the voices
  • Refresh with worship
  • Be energized with the word of God
  • Relax with loved ones, art, journaling , writing, reading, hiking.Come out in nature!😀

Do not judge, and you will not be judged.  Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.  Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”  (Luke 6:37)

Then as I was still digesting the word about lanes, I heard the the Holy Spirit dropped in my spirit the number: 13.Then it took me some time asking God what the meaning of it is and I eventually came across this piece during my search.

6 + 7 = 13

The letters that make up the word Elul have a number value of 67, so it is associated with another Hebrew word that shares the same numeric value: the word binah (בינה), which is Hebrew for wisdom or understanding.(MessianicBibleProject)

WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING

God is instilled some of His attributes in us .For operating in a new lane , the above mentioned will be key tools that will be added or developed as our resources .God is watching the process! Keep the faith! Don’t lose heart!

  1. Changing lanes indeed. I learnt from Apostle Axel Sippach that this is also a month of birthing (9th month of the year). New seasons, new lanes, transitions are all congruent with a birthing season. Bless you lady. I hope it slows down at school and God sends help. ❤️🙏🏾
