This one was quite a battle for me.I started of with Mount Ephraim , but the Holy Spirit pointed out that:👇

Ek die kat aan die stert beet het.( Afrikaans)

WHICH MEANS:

To catch the cat by its tail

And at last: The STRATEGIST IS REVEALED!

During my early days in blogging , I got hooked on the story of Esther and I was drawn deeper into poetry.Everytime I studied a chapter or even a few verses, I found myself writing a poem , spontaneously.One of these poems I called ,the strategist, and I realized ( after some time) that Holy Spirit is revealing my godly character and kingdom assignment to me.

The STRATEGIST

Challenge 
Tribulation, Disease
Who are you walking through
my fields,
My town, my community?

Who are you
Trying to rob my country,
Our nation?

Standing, watching from a distance,
The angry raving with no solution

Death and hunger .

I , woman
Approaching you in the strength
And delegated power
Of my God!

You shall not prosper in your plans,
To seize control!

For who are you to challenge
The precious handmade of God?

Phase 1: Standing watch

On the hills of Ephraim 
She arose and created her lookout.
And as she stretched out,
her eye, her hands;
Her gaze turned from counsel
To intercession.

The army of King Jabin were settled in a comfort zone for 20 years, and reigned the region with terror and oppression.I guess they did not expect a defence rising from the Israelites and even more; an army lead by a woman. Reading the story of Deborah ,I infered that judge’s role were to comfort, give counsel, to solve problems and was given military power, to fight for God’s people , to encourage .

The palm tree of Deborah, on the hills, became the lookout of a watchman.Here she arose ,waited patiently, interceded for the people to return to God and strengthened them with wise counsel.

Phase 2: Intercession

She stood between God and Israel,
Like a Moses and Abraham
And waited for the plan.
No longer could she bear
The deserted main road,
The failing economy
And hidden hero's. 

She sent for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh  in Naphtali and said to him, “The Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: ‘Go, take with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun and lead them up to Mount Tabor.

Crisis brings opportunity!

What is a strategist?

The dictionary describes a strategist as a person skilled in planning action or policy, especially in war or politics.

Phase 3: Strategic Instructions

In military strategy is of utmost importance.Going into a battle with a carefully worked out plan, can bring smoothness and success, especially when going against advanced and strong opposition.

“May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.
May they be like chaff before thewind,with the angel of the Lord driving them away;may their path be dark and slippery,with the angel of the Lord pursuing them.” Psalm 35:4-6

Then God spoke!
She keeps in her position,
Instructed as received.
Aligning , all aboard!
Marching with only 10 000
And reached a final score
With a fleeing general
Lured into the tent of an ally.

“My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, O LORD? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.”Psalm 35:10

VICTORY!

Well, the end of this battle was already been dealt with before even going into battle as Deborah prophesied that Sisera would fall at the hand of a woman.

Born for a time such as This!The story of Deborah reminds me a great deal of Eshter.What caught my attention about their story is that opportunity is hidden in challenging times.The times that we are living in , are crying out Crisis!
