Got you this time!Told you so😁.My best students this time…like we say in Afrikaans: het klei getrap( an idiom which means experiencing difficulty or To struggle )Off course , nothing is impossible for them because of whom they choose to serve!

They were splashing through the lines , and marching right up to the Palm tree of Deborah in Judges 4.And the 🥇 one doing the Splash dance was…. 🥁🥁🥁….Tamweary of Carebiblestudy with 🥈Evidence and with Pedro of Kingdomthoughts really Splashing ( I knew he had an idea) and eventually made it to the shadow🌴.

And then Anneta of Dailydevotionals came with her ban talk again! Tam’ s a tough one!I had such a fun time before going to school!Thank you for everyone taking time to read and engage.

But let’s get into the unravelling

Positioning yourself at the altar

1.Position or Rank

Over the hills and valley
Your shadow falls,
Your shadow stretch.

"...in the hill country of Ephraim,..."Judges 4:5

When I started to study Judges 4 , the image of Deborah under the palm tree , kept posing to me as a question: Did the specific palm provided enough shade to sit under and can still accomodate those coming up for wise counsel ?

I had a different palm tree in mind and found out that it was a date palm.Of course, it does have enough shade!This palm is a single tree, linked to the judge and prophetess Debora also representing the remnant.

Keeping record

Once our decrees and prayers are released into the atmosphere, heaven takes a hold of it and keeps it in remembrance; for e.g. I started praying for a location in my street with a big tree that became the gathering of those using drugs and high school learners ( smoking and doing drugs) on their way to and from school..It was a terrible site and I decided to launch a prayer that my daughter calls a notice prayer.

For you have kept record of the fallen 

"the Lord route Sisera and all his chariots and army by the sword..." Judges 4:15

After a month( just as I scheduled my notice prayer) these activities stopped!And whenever I walk past this tree( every morning) on my way to school I witness the peace of God and pray that heaven release the frequency of this prayer still.

Testify

And testifies against the ones  Who would not travel the main road anymore, 

“In the days of Shamgar son of Anath,in the days of Jael, the highway were abandoned;travelers took to winding paths."Judges 5:6

Just as the ground testifies against against Cain when he killed his brother Abel( Genesis 4:8),this palm tree ( Altar) testifies against the army of Israel who would not fight , who lost hope.But the altar of Deborah moved God to step in and There, under the palm tree , she received divine instructions.

The stones of the wall will cry out,
and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.

Habakkuk 2: 11

The post about altars of Evidence, especially this verse, got me hooked and thinking! If walls and beams can obtain the words and activities of people, then the ground and environment can too.In my weekly power punch about Atmospheres, I spoke about the impact of altars on our atmosphere and this unravelling ties it together.

Courage and drive

 Those who lost heart

 "Villagers in Israel would not fight;..."Judges 5 :6

Direction

 But you became the compass Of repentance,

 "Then the people of Israel cried out to the LORD for help."Judges 4:3

TESTIMONY

The palm tree kept the secret conversations between God and Deborah; it tucked her worship in its boughs; received it and presented it to heaven.( This is me all poetic again!)It became the office of many secrets, an altar of intercession.

You've kept a diary of precious worship,


"I, even I, will sing to the Lord;I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel, in song."Judges 5:3 

Office space available

You became a host of wise counsel.

 "She held court under the Palm of Deborah... the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided "Jugdes 4:5

Finally, what stood out for me was the word: Testimony and Testify , in the unravelling.

“At this I fell at his feet to worship him.But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”

Revelation 19:10

The assignment that I received when I reached the palm tree of Deborah:

Here on my blog I am a student myself.This is one of the platforms that Holy Spirit use to teach, train and prepare me.I started a choir at our school, after Covid, and I recently hear the instruction to instill worship in the hearts of our kids.
