Hello, everyone in my radar! We’re nearly at the end of June and our school holidays are about to start!
During the month of June I stepped into a new stream of poetry: Quizzes! Praise – and scripture poetry has been one of my places of rest and refreshment thus far.It has also became a method to study the bible and to become drawn into the stories and parts of scripture I used to read.It creates moments of ” Dwelling” in the scriptures.
June has been a month in which I kept thinking and praying about God’s provision , positioning myself and also setting up the correct mindset about God’s provision.
God’s provision is unlimited and I found myself Splash Poetry Quizzes.
Last week’s answer:Hagar
“The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur.”
Genesis 16:7
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”
Genesis 16:13
Thank you for everyone who took the time to read or engage.I think the stream of this poetry also touched my daughter , Blanca. She was so excited and did not rest before she eventually found the clue : “the God who sees me…”She also started her blog in 2020 and became a seeker for God’s plans .She has been and still is the one intercededing and praying for me and my kingdom assignment. When I needed encouragement along the way she became a trusted cheer champion and motivator to me.

Beth and her Adi became another team of cheerers on my way , pressing on in my kingdom assignment.I learn so much from her own experiences from her walk with the Lord Jesus and the way God used her dog to teach her valuable lessons.
Profile:The single mother, Hagar

An Egyptian slave
“Now Sarai,Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar; so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.”
Genesis 16 :1-2
A surrogate for Sarai
“Sarai his wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife. He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.“
Genesis 16: 4
Mistreated
“Your slave is in your hands, Abram said. “Do with her whatever you think best.” Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.”
Genesis 16:6
A single mother
“So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son…”
Desolate places
In the middle of despair
As she walked with the veil,
A veil of rejection
That covered her eyes
But You opened her eyes
To see...that You do care.
To see Your provision,
A well in the wilderness!
Feeding the multitudes
He could not escape
For the scent of His presence
Left a trail...
A way for the crowds
To find Him,
Even in places out of reach.
Then,
Within the crowd
They found him...
With only a lunchbox
And in Jesus' hands
It became a feast
For the multitudes.

How exciting that your daughter has begun her own blog! I shared your poetry quizzes with my youngest daughter and I wish you could have seen how animated she got as she read them and began to guess. She nailed both of them within the first two tries. I’m looking forward to the next quiz. Thank you for graciously sharing my blog with your readers as well.
