Create something out of the new

A Genesis Journey

Have you ever experienced that feeling when starting a new journey, project, or job? It can be quite overwhelming for some.

I remember how I and my family journeyed with our daughter who just finished university, accompanying her to the city to her workplace. We were excited but nervous because we did not have all the preparations in place.

We’re situated in the rural parts of South Africa and sending our introverted daughter to Cape Town, on her own, was a BIG deal.

Declaration of light:Create something out of the void

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Genesis 1:1-2

If God created something new at the beginning, why do we not follow His example?

Every new start allows us to create and declare that it is good. All of these creations were God’s words, honored by the Holy Ghost, hovering above the waters of the earth.

Declare:Create something out of the void and unlock greatness

Decrees or declarations are my favourite way to begin my month or week. It boosts my monthly prayer.

For me a new month , is full of God’s promises, waiting to be unlocked and activated. There are also void spaces and vacant for us to fill up to prepare the way for the Lord .

Let’s light up our new month or any new journey with decrees from the word of God.
