A Prophetic Declaration of Rest
I started with a grand entrance to 2021 and possessing the gate of your year, and now I’m taking on a series for January, The entry to 2022- Prepare. Just another year! NO WAY! Every day of this year is a day that the Lord has MADE! Preplanned with schedules, meals, treats, opportunities, breakthroughs, answers, outcomes! And many more on God’s schedule!
The problem sometimes is: We expect it to just happen and fall into our laps.
How I received a prophetic word from God.
God is still revealing Himself to us today!
When I was on holiday with my loved ones I told my daughter that God must be telling us something about the new year. Whenever I engaged in prayer or journaling during that time, I watched out for a word from the Lord. And one early morning as I sat down with my journal, writing down a worship prayer, the Holy Spirit dropped a word in my spirit:

As I started to meditate on this word, I looked closely and Holy Spirit ask me to identify the root word:

And as I took a tour through my Joy Journal I came across the following:

When God has a plan He will surely inform those who seek Him diligently, expecting to hear from Him. He will reveal to us the hidden things when we ask, seek, or knock.
Genesis 18:17-18
“Should I hide from Abraham what I’m about to do,” the Lord asked, since Abraham’s descendants will become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him? “
My prayer journal has been a useful companion throughout my journey and a platform where the drop-offs of the Holy Spirit can land safely.
How I prepared my Rest declaration
Firstly, I wrote a prayer to accept God’s invitation and to thank Him for offering and revealing to me a time to enter His rest.

Scripture Hunting
This is not just a random theme, but rather a word received directly from the heart of God, I believe. Because of this reassurance, I can write down this vision and run with it!
Collect all applicable Bible verses and especially those that speak to your heart.

Identify drop-off areas
The drop-off area is the area where you are declaring over or trusting God to bring about change.
Start writing your declaration with praise on the frontlines!
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” – Psalm 100:4
Entering the gates of a new year is one thing, now it’s time for the next step:
Declare over the landscapes of the new year!
‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ Jeremiah 29:11

Much needed, thanks. Divine declarations to enter the first month👑
