A reflection on 2021 :Blog and Journaling Review(1)
Introduction
I began and finished my first official prayer journal in 2020 as I was instructed by the Holy Spirit. The planning and orientation stage was exciting and took me a month because I had no idea how to start…but out of obedience I followed the lead of the Holy Spirit and the journey continued !

In January this year(2021) I started season 2 with a new journal thinking that it’s just about me growing in prayer and in my relationship with God.I was in for a big surprise!Soon after my orientation stage my grandmother started to live with us and since then the Holy Spirit kept me on my toes.Every blogpost I wrote this year , was something I was either taught by Holy Spirit or something I experienced.
Because of the length of the post I will be breaking it up in different sections:
👉My support structure
👉The impact of blogging on my journey
👉Tips about knowing your kingdom assignment
👉The importance of morning prayer
👉Acceleration
👉Prayer journal Tour
2.My support structure
2.1The importance of being in agreement
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.“
Matthew 18:
When I started prayer journaling and blogging, my daughter also became activated and we started to journey together.I must mention though, our journaling styles are so diferent: she is simplistic and I am into detail, but we are both prophetic.I guess my husband and 2 sons did not understand what we and Holy Spirit were up to , but eventually got a grip of it.
They saw , heard and experienced the changes and proof daily.
The figurative use of the word in Matthew 18:19 makes it of special interest. The word there is sumphoneo, from which comes our word symphony, meaning a harmonious blending. This agreement therefore is complete. Three persons are introduced:two human beings and the Father. They are in perfect agreement on the subject or purpose under consideration. It is therefore an inward unity produced by the Holy Spirit leading the two into such an agreement with the Father. (biblestudytools.com)
Synonyms for agreement

2.1.1 How I benefited from this agreement
- I am not alone on the team
- I am joined together with a likeminded believer
- I received strength and courage to press on.
- I felt comforted and uphold
- Exchanging strategies and ideas
- Timely encouragement
- Weekly Prayer Journal sessions
- Experiencing breakthrough
During this time we had been apart since she got accepted through the wonderful grace of God by a big company for an internship. We continued our agreement in Prayer, journaling and weekly journal chats.
2.1.2 Our conductor and main power outlet
Through His Spirit God led us out of our own wilderness and out of the things of the world( the process is still ongoing) and we soon realize that we are not our own but bought with a price, created for His purpose.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”
John 14:26
God began the process of transformation, teaching, training, discerning the voice of Holy Spirit, being mindful and how to pray what is on His heart.
No promise without the process
“for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
Luke 12:12
2.1.3 Other support
We soon realized that we’re in deep water and that we need knowlegde and resources. We are in a congregation that believes in Jesus Christ the Son of God and the virgin birth of Mary, the bible as the highest authority of God and the Holy Spirit, but I could not find someone to come into agreement with me.
The first human resource the Holy Spirit brought to us was Cindy Trimm. We were led to her prayer of spiritual warfare and other teachings to inspire us and to teach us about important prayer points and spiritual warfare.
Other helpers the Lord assigned us to and still is, are Robert Henderson ‘s teachings on Accessing the courts of Heaven ; Hellen Calder[Enlivenblog] and Jennifer Le Claire’s ” Mornings with the Holy Spirit”.
2.1.4 The results of standing agreement
I received a big assignment from the Lord : To pray for the deliverance and salvation of my grandma. She was deeply rooted in religion and could not pray directly to Jesus although she believed in Jesus Christ.I found out later that she was carrying a generational promise and God wanted to break generational curses in our family.I could not have done this alone! There were times I felt like giving up; times that I ask God whether this was possible….and the Holy Spirit softly asked me: “Is there anything impossible for God?”
My husband and two sons( 18 and 9) joined in on the agreement and knew what was expected of us as partners of God and this strengthened our support structure.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Standing in unity upon God’s word shift our focus His way and what He expects of us.Our shields were linked as I called out Testudo each morning.

Conclusion
God is still faithful and will never test us beyond our ability. What we have faced throughout the past year did not break us, but was meant to build up a stronger resistance and structure within our spirit.

As we are a few hours away from 2022 , let us shift our focus to reach the horizons of God’s word to fill up our barren landscapes with the joy of our salvation and a restored hope.

Thanks for your post. I look forward to the remainder of the posts in this series.
