Faith Rewards through mustard seeds

I have seen that through rewarding children for good behavior or a job well done, they grow to a positive attitude and actions. Receiving rewards make them engage even more and brings them to a place of confidence. For them, a reward Is their name on the bulletin board, a sticker in a book, or the mention of their name. They do not ask for compensation, they earn it.

Offering them rewards is not to bribe them but to give them hope and to motivate them to press on, to bring them into account for the bigger prize at the end of the course.

So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

Believers can become weary in their faith walk, but exchanging weariness for the promises of God makes it worthwhile to keep on.

“Store up for your yourselves treasures in heaven”

What is a reward ?

A reward is something that you are given, for example, because you have behaved well, worked hard, or provided a service to the community. ( Collins dictionary)

Something is given in exchange for a useful idea, good behavior,excellentwork ( Cambridge)

Faith rewards are feeding and strengthening us on our course to achieve the Heavenly prize.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

When it comes to a spiritual reward it comes from pressing on, trusting God and standing in faith and on His promises against all the odds.Just keep moving!Rewards are waiting ahead!

What is the difference between a gift and a reward?

A gift is something given voluntarily without payment in return.A reward is something given or received for service or merit. A reward is something you earn. A gift is freely given and is not earned

Laziness
Lack of fellowship with God
Lack of knowledge
Scarcity of the Word of God in your life
Disobedience
Prayerlessness
Passivity( not acting on the Word of God)
Not standing on His promises, declaring it.
Unbelief
Ignorance
Avoidance

Earning points for faith rewards

1.Advancement and blessing comes through obedience

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.And all these blessings shall come upon you and …“

2.Humility

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.”

3.Fellowship
