Let’s move mountains

Exploring the character of faith through prayer journaling

For so many challenging things that we may face in life, we need courage, endurance, hope, and love. Perhaps my list is too short for all the everyday challenges, but out of all the ordinary circumstances a situation where faith is needed pops up.

Some situations only listen to the voice of faith.

Faith has a voice.

Only faith can raise its voice against the impossible situations that we may be facing. But how strong are my faith muscles? Can Faith voice itself effectively through me? Got to practice some more!

Faith muscles must be exercised to become stronger.

Tools needed:

  • ▶Faith▶▶▶
  • Courage📎
  • Armor of God🛡
  • Word of God📜
  • Prayer Journal 📓

Method of moving:

  • “You will say…”
  • Speaking
  • Repeating God
  • Declaring what God said
  • Decree on the will of God

If I should define the word impossible, I would say that depends on the ability or willpower of an individual, for instance: my grandmother fell a while ago and now fear paralyzes her to take a few steps again. It is a struggle for her to stand in faith, trusting God who cannot be seen and then act accordingly.

Faith has an attitude!

The attitude of a faith walker

Someone who walks in faith may sometimes seem a bit odd, seeing things that are nowhere to be seen! Faith can shift our mindset from the seen to the unseen!

The servant of Elijah did not see the cloud he was talking about and had to go look 7 times. Elijah already saw the cloud when he prayed.

Seven times Elijah told him to go and look. Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.”

1Kings 18:43-44

Faith has eyes.

Is anything too hard for the Lord?

Genesis 18:14

And He said to them…. ‘for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you”

Matthew 17:20

Little children have a habit to repeat what their parents said. Even learners like to correct parents with the words of their teacher.

And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” ~ Hebrews 11:6

Finally, faith allows us to live peacefully, trusting in God and His Word.
