How one’s attitude can hamper your own or others’ life is an aspect we’re not likely to take note of. I did not give so much thought to it, until writing about it.

Dominance

I realized recently how my presence was of utmost importance at school, especially in my classroom. It literally fills the classroom together with all the others of my learners. So there will definitely be a territory battle going on for dominance.

For some people, it is really easy to bombard the space with their alter egos, dominating every meeting and conversation. Its called dominance! Some people accept it, I hate this when it is silencing the voices of others. I keep thinking about how Esther was waiting in the courtyard of the king’s quarters. After being in prayer and fasting for 3 days, she was carrying the fragrance of prayer and it overwhelmed the king, not knowing about her secret. Wow! SHE EVEN POSITIONED HERSELF STRATEGICALLY!

1.A sweet and pleasant smell

2.a liquid that people put on their bodies to make themselves smell pleasant

Release your fragrance

Most fragrances are in different containers and as long as it’s inside of them, we won’t be able to experience the smell of it. We will be missing out on all the different scents that are waiting in suspense to fill the air.

  • The heat brings out the flavor and aroma of spices.
  • We need to fuel us first with the Word of God.
  • some containers we have to put some pressure on it to let the fragrance out.
  • Through the fire of prayer and petitions, we are steamed to release the pleasant fragrance inside of us.
  • Forgiveness helps to let the aroma travels a little further. Unforgiveness can be a force to stop us from being the pleasant smell God wants us to be.
  • Know your brand. Advertise it!
  • Become a unique and outstanding label for God.

Conclusion

The woman Mary who poured out the expensive scented oil from the alabaster jar, first had to break it to bring out the fragrance, her sacrifice. All the time she kept this very expensive perfume to herself, but she chose to offer it to Jesus first in exchange for breakthrough.Sometimes we need to be broken first before we can become useful to God.

When a certain immoral woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume.

Luke 7:37

Our life should be an alter of pleasing incense to God.
