My May journaling was mysteriously initiated by an intimate early morning experience. Strange how most of my precious moments with God started in my kitchen.
I embraced God’s prayer watches and was greatly inspired to schedule my prayers accordingly.The early morning watch (6am-9am) became my journaling watch in which the Lord strengthened and refreshes me for the day and God’s expectations for my week.

Testimony of deliverance
During this month I experienced a strange attack to the side of my throat.As I inquired Holy Spirit about it,it seemed that it was an attempt to silence my voice.But me and my daughter combined the early morning watch and the second night watch(9pm – 12pm) and scheduled our prayers.At the end of the week I was totally delivered and could continue in warfare prayer .

When I write my first monthly prayer I was unaware of the resistance of the enemy on this area. I came to the realization that each month needs to be unlocked and possessed to gain access to the purposes ,promises and plans of God for our lives.Thus, great emphasis fell on months this time!
Month projects/Assignment
Holy Spirit gave me a month project to complete on the biblical months.I retaliated and asked Holy Spirit if this is still of relevance in our time and He answered me with these questions…
Does God change or does His Word?
You accepted His watches,but not His months ?
Holy Spirit shifted my focus to the biblical months when I started the book of Nehemiah.I was really amazed at how Nehemiah obeyed God and prayed to Him even before answering the King.

“4 The king said to me, “What is it you want?”
Then I prayed to the God of heaven, 5 and I answered the king…”
Bearer of the King’s cup
In the service of the king, Nehemiah’s job was to pour the king’s wine, tasted it and to serve him.Although it may seems to be an ordinary job , it was actually a higher ranking service to fulfill.This is a position where favor can be released upon yourself, loved- ones,your city, neighbourhood and the body of Christ.
The month of May was a time of applying knowlegde,gaining new knowledge and recognizing daily assignments.It was a month that God made me aware that we, His children according to John 1:12 , are bearers of His cup and must be filled daily to serve those in need of love, hope and deliverance.
I believe that God wants His people to come into sync with His times so we can step into alignment with His plans and purposes for our lives and to bring Heaven’s glory to our own lives, our families , country and comunities.
God’s spiritual calender has been added to my treasure chest.I’m building up my treasures!
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal ...”
(Matthew 6:19-20).
Prayer journaling is an effective and approved way to build up treasures.
