WEEKEND JOURNALING
During the week I’m overwhelmed by deadlines at work being a mom and housewife, helping kids with homework, blogging, and meetings. I have to get up early to present my days before God so my days are aligned according to His plans and purposes for my life and kingdom assignment. I want to experience fruitfulness at the end of each day even though it is only a minor breakthrough or achievement. I also want to spend quality time with my family as well. Spending and managing time effectively is a biblical principle, therefore it must be evident in our lives. Prayer is serious business for me and through prayer journaling, I’m being prompted and also held accountable to pray.
Characteristics of a good steward

- Good stewards are committed and complete what they started.
- They are accountable and trustworthy
- They know how to manage their time wisely
- The report of a good steward is honest and valuable.
- Integrity, humbleness, and honesty are inherent values of a good steward.
- They know how to balance because they know that balance belongs to the Lord.
- Good stewards know what they have is borrowed and must use it wisely.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17
Catching up activities
During the week I do not always manage to spend enough time finishing concepts with the Holy Spirit. When the Lord is trying to teach me a new concept or truth I cannot grasp or visualize it fully during the buzz of the week. I sometimes make notes of prompts to attend to it during weekends when I’m more relaxed.
Catching up on journaling consist of the following :
- Finishing my doodle bible studies
Visual Bible studies or doodle Bible studies, as I love to call it, is my favorite way to study the Bible, and sometimes it is expected of me to spend more time creating it and inferring the concepts of the Spirit.
I never leave my prayers as only letters on the pages of my journal but activate them to become alive and secured by praying in tongues over it. By praying in tongues the Holy Spirit interprets my prayer and aligns it according to the will of God.
- Finish off my topic prayer journal theme with journal art
I concluded my newly discovered Topic Prayer Journal Theme with crafts. I use weekends to spare some time to finish my theme.

So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.(Psalm 90:2)
For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?(Luke 14:28)
God never let things unfinished. He finishes what He started in us…
