Doodling your way through the Word of God

It is just amazing how God can supply all our needs, both physicall and spiritual. He loves introducing us to new tools and strategies to gain new knowledge and to expand our territory. Mapping our way through the Word, even though doodling, is a supernatural tool for God to usher. us into the realm of influence.

Playfulness

Doodling reminds me of playfulness in the sense of children playing, exploring, admiring new toys, and developing both physically and socially. Just as children develop through play, the children of God can develop through doodling through the word of God.

Doodling through Psalm 1

Psalm 1 is the introduction to the book of 150 psalms and is divided in two, describing the way of the wicked and of the righteous.When I read through Psalm 1, the following verse immediately appeared to me as a company with its directors and workers.

The righteous VS the wicked

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers .." (1:1)

Through the ages of Bible history, God warned his people not to get mixed up with the wrong people, for He knows the plans and outcome of the wicked. When Sampson was born, God set specific guidelines for him to be brought up with and to be maintained throughout his life. And Sampson did just the opposite: He got mixed up with the wrong crowd! His adversaries mocked God and triumph at his fall. The biggest mistake was to join the corporation of the crooked!

The wicked operates within 3 areas:

1.Circle of influence

The wicked will always use their trump card against the children of God to lure them into their circle of influence, as they used Delila to seduced Sampson. Why? To find out the secrets of the Holy Spirit and the plans of God for our lives!

2.Council

Their circle of influence is hierarchical, therefore there are assignments to be carried out by hideous workers to obtain information and to influence our mind with evil strongholds. They are plotting and scheming against the finished work of Christ! They are eager to hand out free advice to seduce and to turn people against the steadfast love of Christ.

3.Paths 

The righteous do not partake in the activities of sinners and do not dwell in their ways.

The path that the sinner takes, is a dead end and leads to eternal separation from God and death.

The products and supply chain

²³ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 23

Like any natural company, the company of the unrighteous produces products and will be evident in our lives if we partake in their ways and take up the evil counseling.

Conclusion

So many times we set in the council of evil speakers and – doers, and their speech and reasoning clouded our thoughts so we cannot easily discern the ways of the Lord and that of the world. Their purpose is to derail us from our godly purpose.

I’ve never been able to find this much from a bible study! Doodling unlocked so many endless possibilities
