I could never imagine
that a sinner like me
could be in the presence
of a Holy One like You
Sometimes I take a breath
and reminisce sweet visits
How You waited for me
In the early morning
Alongside the kettle
Suddenly...but all along
You were there before me
Ready with counsel and love.
How You keep me company
When journaling
When I'm bored and uninspired
How You strangely visits me
When I'm descending
In a state of lukewarmness
How Your hand stretch out
To send Hope
Chasing away Despair
How You listen to my spirit
Evaluating its rhythm
And send forth Courage
With timely advice
For a disheartened child. most of all, I can be Yours!

This is a beautiful poem. I also struggle sometimes to understand that I can be in God’s presence, although I am a sinner.
