The power in prophecy
A season of change
How desperate are we to experience true revival and the early- and late rains of change in a new season?
Can an entrepreneur starts a company and has no plans for it to prosper?
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future
The plans and intentions of God are hidden in His heart and mind and are being revealed through His prophets to speak out at the appointed times. Through the ages, God used prophecy to bring about change and shifted spiritual climates.

Navigating your future with prophetic declarations

Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the
power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Prophetic declarations became an essential part of my early morning prayers as I started my prayers with them and I experienced the outcome of it in my life. I was going through a difficult time in my life, trying to cope with work, home, homeschooling, and church activities while my husband was working away from home. I cried out for help in prayer and the Lord woke me up at 3:30 that week. This is the time I got active with journaling again.
What are prophetic declarations?
Prophetic declarations and decrees are selected from the word of God and are prayerfully spoken to release heavenly promises in our lives.
Hebrew 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active.
Why we should include prophetic declarations in our prayers
- It fills our spirit with courage and fuel up our prayers
- It gives us momentum in prayer whenever we are disheartened
- It goes ahead of us and prepares the way.
- It gives us hope and something to hold on to when facing difficulties and hardship.
- It fills our path with light. (Psalm 109:105)
- The Holy Spirit teaches us to grow in prayer and leaning on the power of God’s word.
- We are soaking our soul and spirit in God’s word to prepare it to receive and awaits His promises.
- Our faith grows as we see the promises of God being fulfilled in our lives and others.
- We are practicing an important asset of prayer.
In the beginning, was the Word and it was with God (John1:1); why not then make it a powerful beginning in our lives to kickstart our days and seasons?
