The intensity of poetry

I realized while brainstorming, how heated poetry can be. My learners become vibrant and alive. Their faces light up just like a flower opens up at the first rays of sunlight. For me to see this is priceless!

Poetry, how easy the topic or activity may be, is strangely the most challenging for my grade 7′ s.It prompts them to think and challenge their way of thinking. It changes the negative behavior of some learners positively and brings out the real person.

I found that children related strongly to this topic because they are experiencing it in life.
