Setting a new standard for your life
When we grew up, we are surrounded by a circle of people who mainly consist of family and close friends. We watch how they behave and make choices for themselves and those around them: Some good, other behavior not. Our minds are challenged, bombarded with all sort of positive as well as negative feed.
Let’s define standard
2.a rule or principle that is used as a basis for judgment
3.a level of quality or attainment
Our standard becomes our emblem, hoisted during the different life challenges. We are being associated with this emblem, our standards .
So, setting a standard became the responsibility of the adult or the people in leadership. Now, since we became in a position to make our own decisions, standing on one’s own feet, it’s time to: Get Our Own Stuff.

Romans 12: 2
. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.
There are only two sets of standards:
Wordly
CONFORM
To be molded in a certain pattern
A norm in society.
What everyone else do.
What the rest of the world wants.
Less or no effort.

Godly
TRANSFORM
Think and react differently
Breaks free from wordly desires..
Mind and heart is set on the things above.
Some effort is required
To be changed from one thing to another

Transforming our old ways
To change our ways are not always easy, because we aligned our hearts according to the norms of the world. We even get so comfortable, getting so used to this way of thinking and doing that we do not recognize that it is a tactic of Satan to limit us and keep us stagnant.

- Choose to change to God’s word, our most powerful tool.
- Create a strategy for change
- Identify all your old way of thinking and habits.
- Write a possible solution or Bible text next to it.
- Persevere

Purpose
has always been a main part of Gods plan for our lives. Our purpose is sometimes hidden in unexpected places we`d never imagine, like Eshther who was destined to be queen only to act on a given time for a godly purpose. We can therefore discern that our purpose is already known to God and linked to Him, thus preplanned. The aim of our purpose is to honor Him and be used according to His will for our lives.Easier said than done!I`ve got news for you :
I can do all things through Christ who strenthens me.(phillipians 4:13)
