Taking a stand

We are all fighting a war of our own.Most people , mostly teenagers sometimes even against themselves , falling into self pity, despair … and ended in suicidal behaviour.

The giant , Goliath was the winning weapon of the Philistines .Quite an impressive description .

1 Samuel 17

⁴ A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span. ⁵ He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels ; ⁶ on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. ⁷ His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels.His shield bearer went ahead of him.

He waged his mocking war of emotional bullying for 40 days morning and evening.

¹⁶ For forty days the Philistine came forward every morning and evening and took his stand.

So every morning as we awake , getting ready for the day these giants are awaiting us to continue, taking their stands.

Teenagers become so afraid to move forward and rather keep moving in reverse , because of fear and uncertainty.

This is a cry for help.

Anyone …come forward , but with the right weapons and authority.
