Discerning the sound of conflict
Conflict is an inevitable part of our lives .We are just ordinary and weak humans depending on the strength of God to lead us not into temptation, but to deliver us from this.
Conflict will not pass us by everytime ; it do visits us.Sometimes we can hear its footsteps;sometimes it can catches us off guard.It doesn’t ask for a spesific time, moment or day.We cannot ignore the fact that we have to deal with people everyday, whether it is at home, with neighbours about their dogs , on social media and like me for instance – at school with learner ,parents and even staff members.
Each one of us has an idea where conflict situations hits the mosts in our lives .For me it is always my workplace and church.You see, conflict just loves being in the midst of people.It always finds a way to enter our life, mind and heart.
Proverbs 4: 23
Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
It is really easier said than done , but it is really possible to escape from the snares of conflict.
Therefore we should be vigilant, awake and ready to discern its footsteps trying to enter our lives.Yes , sometimes we will fail adhering to it , but not without a lesson afterwards.
My personal and tried tips
1.Identify you weaknesses
2.Identify your hotspots for conflict situations
3.Abide in the Lord.
4.Be quiet.
5.Listen carefully before you answer .
6.Sometimes no reply is needed.
7.Know what the bible says about this topic.
8.Try to avoid people who triggers conflict.
9.Be constantly in contact with the Lord through silent prayer.
10.and the list can go longer…
Point taken: Conflict will always be a part of our live .We should be able to see the signs early on and be warned by the Holy Spirit not to fall in its trap.

Oh how I can relate……conflict means we will suffer, and suffering is part of walking the walk which our dear Lord did travel.
Conflict can also assert us to stand against, sometimes it will be stern, most of the time (hopefully) in meekness.
The Lord knows all things, and if we fall into a trap, it’s because the Lord desires to show us the depths of our carnal hearts, and we learn through the Spirit how to handle it again.
However in these last days where Apostasy runs rapid……conflict means we must separate from ALL who walk not in the ways of the Lord,
He keeps us, and we need that keeping power all the time, even if we fail to ask for it…….

AS the Lord’s children we are learning everyday, as it should be, and sometimes we may not understand what we were to learn, until HE lifts the veil of our flesh.
