When my daughter matriculated in 2016, we applied for a few bursaries and financial assistance for her to study the next year. Furthermore, we stood in prayer and faith believing that God will provide to our every need according to His riches.

The university furthermore informed us that we had to look for alternative accommodation with ridiculous rates for her to stay. Yet, I stayed calm, in the rest of the Lord. When we took her to the campus, about 1000 km from home, we went in spite of a no- accommodation reply and not yet bursary. When we arrived at the campus, we went to the student council assisting the first years … her name was on the list for accommodation and we rejoiced with the key in our possession!

We left her behind with a few tears as this was her first time far from home. Now it was all in the hands of the Lord to provide for her studies.

I kept thanking the Lord for His provision and 3 weeks after this I started ministering to my provision, claiming it.

The next week during a prayer meeting I simply offered praise to the Lord and LOOSTENED the bursary for her studies I asked for.

Matthew 18.18

Truly, I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Early the next morning as I was between classes, she texted me and told me that she was called in by management and offered a bursary. Only two students could qualify for this bursary …and she was chosen. We received our assistance from people we did not ask!

She finished her third year by grace with this bursary. Currently, in the midst of the Coronavirus, we are on the waiting list of the Lord again to provide for her to finish her post-graduate studies.

When we pray we are lead by God’s Spirit to explore different sections of prayer cardio and interceding for us.
