Exceed your own expectations

This morning while my daughter and I were busy preparing for our father’s day treat , we were talking about our inability to prepare all sorts of fancy dishes.She challenged me to rise above my limited expectations about myself.I accepted the challenge !

All of my sisters , like my mother , like to bake and make all sorts of dishes.I chose to read and make crafts , so I did not learn much about fancy cooking.

I decided to prepare a pineapple tart and carrot cake.Not a big deal to other , but for me it is huge .

After this my self confidence got a boost and I started to tackle the much favourite carrot 🍰.To my surprise it was really easy to make .I used the recipe of Anna Olson.

It caused great satisfaction and courage to plan for the next challenge !
